This Privacy Policy explains how Autonix ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit autonixco.us or place an order with us. We are the data controller for the purposes of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. You can contact us about your data at royastrapsus@gmail.com.

1. What we collect

  • Order and contact data — your name, email address, delivery and billing address, phone number, and details of the products you order.
  • Payment data — payments are processed securely by our payment providers (such as Shopify Payments and PayPal). We never see or store your full card number.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser type, device information and how you use our site, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
  • Marketing preferences — whether you have opted in to receive emails from us.
  • On-site activity data — our homepage games and product-feedback quiz store your progress (scores, credits and your product votes) in your browser's local storage on your own device. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to us in a form that identifies you.

2. Why we use your data (lawful bases)

  • To fulfil your order — processing your purchase, delivery and returns (performance of a contract).
  • To meet legal obligations — tax, accounting and consumer-law record keeping (legal obligation).
  • To respond to enquiries and provide support (legitimate interests).
  • To send marketing emails — only where you have opted in; you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email (consent).
  • To prevent fraud and keep our site secure (legitimate interests).

3. Who we share it with

We share personal data only with service providers who help us run the store, under contracts that protect your data: Shopify (our e-commerce platform and host), payment processors, delivery carriers, and email service providers. We do not sell your personal data. Some providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, transfers are protected by UK-approved safeguards such as adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.

Our site uses cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for the shop to function (such as keeping items in your basket) and, with your consent where required, analytics cookies that help us understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

5. How long we keep your data

We keep order records for 6 years to meet UK tax and accounting requirements. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe. Enquiry emails are kept for as long as needed to resolve your query and for a reasonable period afterwards.

Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access a copy of your personal data; have inaccurate data corrected; have your data erased; restrict or object to processing; data portability; and withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

8. Children

Our products and website are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
